Clonmel Allotments Association are delighted to announce that the pilot site beside Highfield Grove is up and running. The twenty two plots have been assigned based on the waiting list that was building up since the start of the campaign last year, and everyone is busy digging! If you’d like to have a look, the site is to the rear of the Cashel Road industrial estate, accessed beside Clonmel Plumbing on the Cashel Road.
The Association aspires to represent those wishing to start allotments and community gardens in Clonmel. We have received a copy of South Dublin Allotments Association constitution and will look at adopting it in the coming weeks (April 2009).
